This two-part program celebrates the immigrant experience and promotes healthy, active living while building community and cross-cultural understanding. At the Park, a community leader shares his/her immigrant experience followed by walking the labyrinth. 6:30PM Kellie Center Jackson – Forcing Freedom | Speaker Series Event. Stop by the Old North Church and hear from Kellie Center Jackson. Her book Force & Freedom examines one of the perennial questions in political thought: is violence a valid means of producing social change? In her lecture, Kellie Carter Jackson address how black abolitionists answered this question, see additional information here.

The 7-acre complex on the East Boston waterfront is officially open following the ribbon cutting-ceremony on Tuesday. The 478-unit complex has a system of flood barriers to protect from rising tides, read more on Curbed Boston.
