What’s the 311? Graffiti at St. John School, Salem St. Sign Damaged, Homeless Sleeping at Paul Revere Mall, Trash on Stillman St.

Welcome back to our weekly update that highlights some of the cases appearing on 311 in the North End/Waterfront neighborhoods. All 311 cases are public information and can be found at 311.boston.gov.

Graffiti on Moon Street

This 311 user says, “All doors on St. John School have been tagged.”

Salem Street Sign Damaged

This 311 user writes, “Street parking/cleaning sign bent into sidewalk area – impeding pedestrian and disabled access to sidewalk.” The location marker indicates the sign is near the corner of Salem St. and Tileston St.

Homeless at Paul Revere Mall

This 311 user writes, “Every night homeless people sleep at NEMPAC. Every night. This couple the past three nights. There are others. It never ends. Sad. I don’t know what you can do but the homeless situation in the North End was never this way.”

Residential Trash out at 16 Stillman Street

This 311 users says, “Request Type: Rubbish is placed out well in advance of pickup | Details: Trash placed out on the wrong day in the north end | Exact location : front.”

Your case has been inspected by Code Enforcement and sent to Public Works Highway for collection of materials. Please refer to new case number #101002959905.”

  1. You should the summer residents at Christopher Columbus. They sit by the rose garden all day pounding drugs, washing their clothes in the fountain and leaving their trash when they go to search for more drugs. Every day.
    About 8 of them. Nothing done.
