Just over a year after a tragic fire at the same building of 280-282 Hanover St., a fire broke out in the kitchen ceiling of Il Panino Trattoria around 6pm on Saturday night. There were an estimated $150,000 in damages, according to Boston Fire. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation. The upper floors were still vacant and under renovation from the last fire in November 2017 where two people where killed.
