A replacement tree recently arrived at the Prado, likely to replace the Linden that recently fell in an October storm near the fountain. The Prado is currently fenced off from the public as it undergoes renovation.

Great news! I hope the City/Parks Dept. also has plans to replace the multiple trees in Christopher Columbus Park that were recently lost to storm damage. There are far too many empty tree pits in the NE…residents need to contact the City via 311 and request replacements for any missing trees they see!
Don’t forget the trees missing on Hanover St too!
