The Boston Red Sox are once again World Series Champions! They won the 2018 series in Game 5 against the LA Dodgers on Sunday, October 28, with a final score of 5-1. Take a look at the Big Picture series of highlights. After 86 years without a World Series win through 2004, middle school kids have now seen the Red Sox win four times! How times have changed. Game 5 was much more fun to watch than Game 3, the longest World Series game ever, lasting 18 innings and over seven hours. As engaging, the Red Sox made a remarkable rally in Game 4 coming from behind. David Price has a great series as did MVP Steve Pearce, a 35-year-old who’s played for seven teams in his twelve major league seasons without ever making an All-Star team. He had two home runs last night.
David Price gets a HUGE ovation from the #RedSox fans at #DodgerStadium — and #RedSoxNation THANKS and APPRECIATION!
