North End families enjoyed the 67th Annual Outdoor Halloween Party on Sunday, October 28, 2018. The highlight was the parade through the North End streets. Leading the parade were members from the Saint Alfio’s Band with music selections ranging from Ghostbusters, Mickey Mouse, When Saints Come Marching In and, of course, the Italian feast procession favorites. Goodie bags and tickets for prizes were given to the children. Entertainment included music by D.J. Justin Amoroso, games, inflatable bounce houses and face painting. The Recovery Outreach Community (ROC) Teen Saturday program hosted its 12th annual Haunted Halloween Carnival on Tuesday, which brought hundreds of kids to the Nazzaro Playground for some Halloween fun. The outdoor space was completely transformed into a festive kid zone, featuring rides, bounce houses, super slides, food, drinks, pumpkins and more!
The 97th Annual Grand Religious Feast Celebration in honor of Madonna Della Cava will be held on August 11, 12 and 12, 2017 on Hanover and Battery Streets in Boston’s North End.
