Historic Neighborhood Photo: Three Generations by Jules Aarons, Part 3

Photo courtesy of The Streets 1947-1976 and Public Spaces/Private Moments: The Photographs of Jules Aarons

For part 3 of our Jules Aarons series, this week’s featured photo is a familiar neighborhood scene of residents exchanging hellos on the street. The image is certainly one of the reasons Aarons was so fond of photographing in the area – in this one shot, he was able capture three generations of people.

Tune in on Thursday’s to view our featured neighborhood photo from back in the day! Submit your historical photos using our Submit a Post form or tag @northend.waterfront on Instagram. Please include a caption or story telling about your photo.
