Frequently seen working in neighborhood coffee shops, North End resident Francine LaChance is producing the Grolier Poetry Book Shop Festival. The festival will take place in Harvard Square on Plympton Street, Cambridge at 12-8pm
May 19th, 2018, now rescheduled to June 2, 2018.
Hear Francine talk about the festival in this interview by Doug Holder of the Somerville Times. The Harvard Book Store is a sponsor for this event.
The Grolier, now celebrating 90 years, is a non-profit, and needs financial support to move from 90 to 100 years, and beyond. The lineup includes poets Ifeanyi Menkiti, Director and Proprietor of the Grolier, who will read a few his poems, including one from his book Of Altair.
