North End Resident, Francine LaChance, and the Grolier Poetry Festival – Rescheduled for June 2nd

North End resident, Francine LaChance was interviewed by Doug Holder about the Grolier Poetry Festival.

Update: Due to rain, the Grolier Poetry Festival has been rescheduled to June 2, 2018, 12pm – 8pm in Harvard Square outside as a street fair on Plympton Street.

Frequently seen working in neighborhood coffee shops, North End resident Francine LaChance is producing the Grolier Poetry Book Shop Festival. The festival will take place in Harvard Square on Plympton Street, Cambridge at 12-8pm May 19th, 2018, now rescheduled to June 2, 2018.

The Grolier, now celebrating 90 years, is a non-profit, and needs financial support to move from 90 to 100 years, and beyond. The lineup includes poets Ifeanyi Menkiti, Director and Proprietor of the Grolier, who will read a few his poems, including one from his book Of Altair.
