A community conversation with Suffolk County District Attorney candidates will be held on Thursday, May 3, at Suffolk Law School at 6:30 p.m.
The talk is hosted by Boston Wards 3, 4, and 5 Democratic Committees, Suffolk Law School, Boston NAACP, MassVOTE, and the Mass Dems Latino Caucus. The North End / Waterfront neighborhood makes up four precincts in Ward 3.
Candidates Evandro Carvalho, Linda Champion, Greg Henning, Shannon McAuliffe, and Rachael Rollins have all confirmed their attendance. Meghan Irons, race and social justice reporter at the Boston Globe, will moderate. Click here to register to attend.
Current DA Dan Conley announced earlier this year that he will not be seeking re-election. Conley has held the office since February 2002.
This will be the second open candidate forum of the season. The primary for the Suffolk County District Attorney race will be on Tuesday, September 4, and the general election will be Tuesday, November 6.
