The North End Music & Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to the Board of Directors: Carl R. Hall and Eamon O’Marah.
“I am extremely pleased to welcome Carl R. Hall, as our new treasurer, and Eamon O’Marah, as a Director of the Board. Carl brings financial expertise, and I am confident NEMPAC’s finances will continue to be in excellent hands under his leadership. Eamon is very familiar with the City of Boston through his developments and relationship with MassDOT, and he will be a guiding force when NEMPAC moves forward with its pursuit for a new home.” – Dianne Royle, President of the Board of Directors
Carl is a Chief Investment Officer for the Wealth Management Group at Century Bank. He has over 20 years of investment management experience. He is a Graduate from Bowdoin College and holds an MBA from Babson College. Carl lives with his family in the North End and has two children, 7- and 4-years of age, who are currently active NEMPAC students and attend the Eliot K-8 Innovation School.
“As more families decide to raise children in the North End on the heels of the Eliot School’s resounding success, it is vital to ensure programs like NEMPAC thrive as well. Both our children have participated in NEMPAC programs starting at the toddler age with Family Music Makers. Today they are learning piano and will be enrolled in summer workshops. They are all wonderful programs and make vital contributions to their development.” – Carl Hall
Eamon is a Managing Partner of Harbinger Development, LLC. He specializes in identifying and executing complex urban real estate development projects. He has longstanding relationships in the North End dating back to 2008 when he began the development effort. As developer of the Haymarket Hotel project, he has gotten to know many local business owners and elected officials. He is a Graduate from Rhode Island School of Design. Eamon lives in Dover, MA with his wife and two daughters, Cecilia (18) and Margot (16).
“I love NEMPAC…kids, music, the North End – founded by North End mothers for the enrichment of the community and its children! What’s not to love?!” – Eamon O’Marah
The NEMPAC Board of Directors is comprised of individuals with a special interest in improving our community. The Board’s responsibility is to provide counsel and guidance in the direction and operation of NEMPAC, as well as to help raise awareness of its services to the surrounding communities.
