Things to know for Monday
Today is Monday, April 9 and by the very slim chance you didn’t already know…the North End is one of Boston’s most iconic dining districts. Boston.com recently pulled together an essential guide to dining in the North End featuring where to find the best pizza, pasta, cannolis and more.

7:00PM NEWNC Monthly Meeting. Join the North End / Waterfront Neighborhood Council at the Nazzaro Center located at 30 North Bennet Street for their monthly meeting.
North End Resident Laura Pacheco, a former Gift of Life bone marrow donor, is helping to raise awareness of the upcoming April 29th Gift of Life Steps for Life 5k Run & Walk. Laura was paired with 3-year-old Mario Lopez who was suffering from a blood disorder and in need of a marrow transplant when she was able to make her donation and save his life, see additional details about the upcoming 5K here.

Tuesday, April 10
6:00PM Bike Share Expansion Open House. The Boston transportation Department will host eleven open houses this spring to finalize plans for more than 70 new bike share stations in the city, see additional details here.
Wednesday, April 11
6:00PM Author Event: Karen McManus. Join the North End Teen Book Club at 25 Parmenter Street as author Karen McManus discusses her New York Times bestseller “One of Us is Lying”.
6:30PM Friends of the North End Library Meeting. There will be a meeting for the Friends of the North End Library at 25 Parmenter Street.
