What’s The 311? Cooper St. Repaving Plea, Hanover St. Lights Out, & Loud Night Work on Fulton St.

Welcome back to our weekly update that highlights some of the cases appearing on 311 in the North End/Waterfront neighborhoods. All 311 cases are public information and can be found at 311.boston.gov.

Cooper Street Repaving Plea

“For the love of all that is decent in this world, PLEASE repave Cooper Street, this year. We’ve been waiting for decades, and the North End water main project does NOT come down here.”

Hanover Street Lights Out

“Two Street lights out, next to each other on Hanover Street.”

Loud Work on Fulton and Richmond Street

“Verizon doing work along Fulton St. at corner of Richmond St. There was excessive noise until 2:30AM which included drilling & bulldozer. Multiple trucks lining street.”

  1. A cracked and potholed Cooper Street is great, since it discourages drivers from speeding down it. I walk it daily, and I love it.

  2. That Fulton St work is a chronic utility problem. It’s like they have electric, drains and water mains all in the same passage. They are in there so often, they might as well create a door,

  3. There are several streets in the North End/Waterfront that need repair, not just Cooper, but streets that have higher traffic volume.
