Today is Friday, March 2 and if you thought our the mayor was kidding about his culinary Super Bowl bet, think again. A representative from Pauli’s in the North End drove eight hours from Boston to Engine 45, Ladder 14 in Philadelphia to deliver 25 lobster rolls fresh from Boston. Read more on ABC.

10:30AM Dr. Seuss Birthday Party. Stop by the North End Library at 25 Parmenter Street to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday with stories and a concert that is fit for the Cat in the Hat himself!
11:00AM Little Groove Concert at the North End Library. Join the North End Library at 25 Parmenter Street for its Little Groove Concert where children have the opportunity to interact with parachutes, puppets, instruments and more.
As we’ve started to see more and more recently in the North End and Long Wharf in particular, when the storms come, the flooding follows. After the extensive damages caused by the last storm’s flooding, the neighborhood is preparing itself yet again for watever this weather brings our way. Read more on NBC Boston.
