Famous North End pastry shop, Mike’s, was forced to temporarily close yesterday after a minor electrical fire burned in its basement. After signs of smoke started coming from the basement, a nearby manhole cover popped out as the result of pressure build-up, MassLive has the full story.
Pricing comparisons from the North End/Watrfront and surrounding neighborhoods are starting to pull closer together.
