Giacomo’s South End Location Is Closed for Now

The well known North End Italian restaurant Giacomo’s has recently closed it’s South End location at 421 Columbus Ave for an apparent emergency. The restaurant has not commented on the circumstances of its closure, but is hoping to reopen again in the new year, Eater Boston has the full story.

4:00PM Edible Snow Towers at the North End Library. Join the North End Library at 25 Parmenter Street for December activities that are guaranteed to chase away the cold. This upcoming Thursday’s event will be building edible snow towers with marshmallows and toothpicks, see additional details here.

Friday, December 22:

12:30PM ABCD Center Holiday Party for Seniors. Join the ABCDE Center for their Holiday Party for Seniors at 1 Michelangelo Street. The party is free to attend, but please call 617-523-8125 to reserve your spot.

2:00PM Elf Movie at North End Library. Join the North End Library at 25 Parmenter Street for their Friday film showing of the 2003 holiday classic Elf, starring Will Ferrell, James Caan and Bob Newhart.

Christmas Worship at the Old North Church

There will be a candlelight Christmas workshop at the Old North Church on Christmas Eve at 193 Salem Street. The workshop will include a Family Nativity Service & Holy Eucharist, a Choir Prelude, the Festival Holy Eucharist for Christmas and more, continue reading.
