The holidays are upon us and in a season full of gifts and giving, the North End’s il Molo is reflecting on those who have fallen on hard times and giving back to those in need. For those who like the idea of mixing charitable giving with the best of California wines, now through the end of February il Molo will be donating 20% of all Napa Valley and Sonoma County wine sales to the Napa Valley Community Foundation which supports families who have been displaced due to the horrific wild fires from this past October and assists in the reconstruction of homes, wineries and vineyards that have been destroyed.
“Amongst the most predominant wines in the world, Napa and Sonoma wines have distinguished themselves as word-class and formed their own identity in the wine world,” said Donato Frattaroli, Owner of il Molo. “Any loss for this region is a loss for the wine community as a whole. Giving back to those in need is integral to what il Molo is about and we hope that these funds will go toward rebuilding the livelihoods of families who have been affected by this tragedy and helping them get back to their day-to-day lives.”
