The Tsakalidis family at 3 Pond Street Place appeared before the North End / Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) on November 13th to present their expansion request. Pond Street Place extends off Endicott Street, near the intersection of Cooper Street.
The proposal is to add a two-story addition as part of a complete renovation. Each floor will add approximately 300 square feet. The expansion will be used as additional living space by the existing owner with a small roof deck. A floor to area ratio violation requires a zoning variance.
NEWNC voted 9-1 in support of the proposal that will go before the Boston Zoning Board of Appeals. View the above video for the presentation and discussion.
