Wednesday, September 20:
6:30pm: Adult Book Discussion at North End Library. Join us to discuss Lucy Knisley’s forthright, thoughtful, and funny 2013 memoir Relish: My Life in the Kitchen. Copies of the book are available at the library’s circulation desk, 25 Parmenter Street.
Thursday, September 21:
Paving of Commercial Street. There will be paving of the cycle track from Union Wharf (328 Commercial Street) to Commercial Wharf. No parking on water side of the street from 6am – 5pm. See full construction notice.
2:00pm: New Citizens Welcome Reception at Armenian Heritage Park. After the Naturalization Ceremony concludes, the Riverboat Stompers Dixieland Band will lead a parade through Quincy Market to the Heritage Park, with greeters lining the route with balloons. 5:30pm: Boston Workplace Fitness on the Greenway. Cresa Boston is bringing together employees in nearby offices to The Greenway to participate in a fitness program promoting wellness in the workplace. 5:30 – 6:30pm at Milk Street & Atlantic Avenue.
6:00pm: Autumn Jazz Soirée benefit for NEMPAC. The North End Music & Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) invites art lovers to their Autum Jazz Soirée | Welcome Back Party on the Prado fundraiser from 6 to 9 pm. A ticket to the event includes appetizers, an open bar serving wine and beer and live music provided by our music faculty and friends. See event details.
