Natale DeMarco and Matteo Norcia, sponsored by Voga Italia, beat out Andrea Justin and Henly Dunne (St. Joseph’s Society) in high level bocce at the 13th “Taste of the North End” Bocce Tournament. Coming in third were consistent winners, Peggy and Bob Magri.
The teams played in the charity event with an Italian-style barbecue by J. Pace & Son on Sunday, September 10th at Langone Park. The annual bocce event is organized by Donato Frattaroli of Il Molo and Pam Donnaruma of the Post-Gazzete.
The weather was perfect for the traditional Italian game while raising money for North End causes. Taste of the North End raises funds for scholarships and charities in the North End community.
