“Senior playgrounds apparently are popular in Europe and Asia, but not here. The closest thing to a senior sandbox in Boston are the boccie courts in the North End. They’re fine as far as they go, and they’re located near good cannoli, but boccie’s a guy thing. The city has beaucoup senior centers for both sexes, but not a dedicated outdoor exercise area just for them. I say, bring them on.”
