10:00am Photo Lecture: Through the Eyes of the Photojournalist at Mariners House, 11 North Square. The North End Historical Society is pleased to host Essdras Suarez, Pulitzer Prize-Winning Photojournalist, for a an hour lecture and presentation entitled “Through the Eyes of the Photojournalist,” view the event posting.
10:30am I Piccoli Lettori. Join I AM Books for its Italian reading group for little ones! Children (0-4) and their parents will engage in multiple readings and games for a fun morning of Italian language and learning. Located at I AM Books, 189 North Street.
11:00am Greenway Open Market. The Greenway Open Market is a vibrant open-air artisan market featuring talented area artists, crafters, and independent designers. 11:30am North End Yoga. On Hanover Street & Cross Street, North End Yoga is excited to once again present Summer in the City: a free Yoga and Pilates Fusion event on Saturday, June 3rd. 10:00am Street Hockey Tournament at the Gassy (Prince St Park). This years Anthony “Wrinkles” Morella Memorial Street Hockey Tournament will take place on June 4, 2017 at 10 AM. The event will be played at “The Gassy” on Prince St in the North End. All proceeds of the event will support the local New England charity, The Fund for Autistic Children. View the event posting.
11:00am World’s Ocean day with the New England Aquarium. Come meet Calvin the Whale- a life-sized, inflatable, Right whale. Educators will be on hand to answer questions and guide visitors to the New England Aquarium’s free World Ocean’s Day programming. View more information.
11:30am Festa della Repubblica Italiana at Christopher Columbus Park. The annual Festa Nazionale della Repubblica Italiana and “Piazza Italia” is scheduled for Sunday June 4, 2017 at Christopher Columbus Park on Atlantic Avenue in the North End of Boston. The event starts at 11am and runs through the afternoon with free exhibits, children’s area and Italian music.
1:00pm Santa Maria di Anzano Procession – Starts at St. Leonard Church. Procession only starting at St. Leonard Church, Hanover & Prince Streets.

Join us on June 4, 2017 at Christopher Columbus Park to celebrate the 71th anniversary of Festa della Repubblica Italiana, Italian Republic Day. The event runs through the afternoon with free exhibits, children’s area and Italian music. Read more.
Fantastic Experience and Upcoming Performance – Boston Community Collaborative Theater Students. Boston Community Collaborative recently coordinated an amazing opportunity for four of its most experienced theatre students, ages 12-14. These students participated in two classes within Suffolk University’s theater department, read more information.
