Officially opening Thursday on the Rose Kennedy Greenway is the Trillium Beer Garden, by local brewery Trillium and the Greenway Conservancy. The new watering hole is located on the Greenway on Atlantic Avenue at High Street. The effort is a pilot to showcase craft beers and will also feature local wines from Westport Rivers Vineyard.
The beer garden has a capacity of 400 people and is open 4pm-10pm Wed., Thurs. and Fri. and 11am-10pm on weekends. Entry is free (no cover) but patrons will obviously have to purchase the wine and beer. The Trillium Beer Garden will run through October.
Also opening this week is the Zipline at Parcel 12, the ramp parcel between the North End and Faneuil Hall / Quincy Market. See hours and pricing here.
Lastly, the “Ames Room” optical public art can be viewed anytime on Parcel 10 in the North End Parks on the Greenway. See Optical Illusion Art Added to The Greenway Near Hanover Street.
