North End Friends of St. Francis House Hold Banner Flea Market & Bake Sale

The North End Friends of St. Francis House held a successful fundraiser this weekend at the Nazzaro Center. The flea market and bake sale are always popular raising over $10,000 to support the homeless shelter in downtown Boston.

In addition to the donated items and baked goods, Mama Romano cooked up her famous eggplant, sausage and meatballs. The group extends its thanks to all the North End residents and businesses that contribute to the event.

Over the years, the North End Friends of St. Francis House have raised over $100,000. If you did not have a chance to donate and still would like to, please send a check made out to St. Francis House to: Olivia Scimeca  21 Cleveland Place Apt #5  Boston, Mass. 02113.

  1. Hi All:

THANKS SO MUCH to all who donated baked goods, items for our flea market and of course money! Many people also came to buy my mother’s sandwiches – which ended up a sell out!!
We are just short of our goal, so it is not too late as Matt said in his article.

Thanks to Matt for helping promote this event on his site, it is greatly appreciated.

    John Romano
