Aquarium seeks financial guarantee from garage-site developer
The New England Aquarium has taken measures to ensure their survival during the three year construction of Don Chiofaro’s tower proposal. The aquarium is hoping Chiofaro will cover any financial losses the Aquarium suffers during the billion-dollar construction project, conversations continue between both parties. Carr: Mafia soldier dies quietly in his bed
Ralphie “Chong” Lamattina passed away at the age of 94. The longtime mafia member grew up on Hanover Street in the North End, the same place he spent his final years, the Boston Herald has more on the Mafia history of Lamattina.

7:00pm Zoning, Licensing & Construction Committee Meeting (NEWRA) at the Mariner’s House, 11 North Square, 2nd Floor. The Zoning, Licensing & Construction Committee of the North End / Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month, all are welcome to attend.
