6:00pm Francesca Montillo – “The Lazy Italian.” Francesca Montillo is a native Italian and culinary instructor living in Boston, though she travels back to Italy on a regular basis. She is the founder and owner of Lazy Italian Culinary Adventures, which offers culinary adventure weeks to Italy as well as private cooking classes and team building culinary events around Boston. As a precaution, police to shut Lansdowne Street on Red Sox game days

Lansdowne Street, the shadow beneath Fenway Park will now be closed to vehicle traffic during Red Sox games. 10:00am Fred Grandinetti – Drawing with FredSince 1983, Fred Grandinetti has written about Popeye in books, newspapers, magazines and web sites. He is the host/writer and producer of the award-winning family series Drawing With Fred. 6:00pm Les Sampou Quartet – Live jazz. Boston-based Les Sampou Quartet will present an evocative set of American Songbook vocal favorites in the style of such legendaries as Ella Fitzgerald and Diana Krall, rollicking Blues from the early and mid-1900s, and also feature jazz instrumentals performed by the highly-talented musicians joining together for this very special show.

6:30pm Italian Home Gala at Marriott Long Wharf. Italian Home for Children’s Annual Gala! Italian Home for Children provides progressive and therapeutic programs to help children, adults and families with emotional, behavioral and educational special needs thrive in their communities.
