Love Your Block cleanup this Saturday 4/29 will kick off at 9:00am at the Prado (Paul Revere Mall) on Hanover Street. T-shirts and tools will be distributed from there. Wear comfortable clothes as the event is rain or shine.
Take a look at the presentation from Love Your Block 2017 to the North End Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) at their March 2017 meeting. Formerly known as Boston Shines, Mayor Marty Walsh rebranded the initiative this year as “Love Your Block.” The spring cleaning program encourages residents to get involved in their neighborhoods by gathering to help clean up the streets with a few hours of volunteering.
Despite the name change, the program will will run and operate the exact same as Boston Shines, with the North End scheduled to meet at the Prado at 9:00 am on April 29, 2017. Coffee and refreshments will be served with a kickoff to start the cleaning!
