There were several announcements and committee reports at the April 13th meeting of the North End / Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA).
Zoning, Licensing & Construction Committee – Upcoming Applications
- An application for a roof deck at 57 Snow Hill Street has been deferred by proponents to allow for discussions with abutters.
- The Licensing Board hearing for Limoncello 2 (former location of Urban Cantina) is set for April 26th.
- 89 Salem Street (section of former True Value Hardware) – Owner of Ride North End has filed to open KO North End, boxing skills/exercise.
- The next ZLC Committee meeting is Tues., April 25, 7pm, 2nd fl. of the Mariner’s House, 11 North Square.

The Parks & Open Space Committee is actively following the Prado / Paul Revere Mall restoration plans. See an update from the March 2017 meeting.
The Public Safety Committee reported on the latest North End meeting with Area A-1 Boston Police. See the report here.
NEWRA’s website is being remodeled and will experience some downtime as a result. New and renewing members can pay dues online via NEWRA.org.
