The North End / Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) supported a proposal to add a 4th story to the building at 8 Cooper Street. In a 30-2 vote, the group favored the application by Risa Realty Trust (Rita and Lisa Dipietrantonio) to renovate the property which will be owner occupied. The Dipietrantonio family own the L’Osteria Restaurant with Lisa and Rita also running La Galleria 33 on Salem Street. The addition will provide one master bedroom, full bath and a private roof deck.
