Boston Community Collaborative is so pleased and proud to congratulate it’s drama and dance teacher, Ingrid Oslund for her role as Assistant Director of Emerson Stage’s production of William Shakespeare’s Richard III. Congratulations also to North End involved kids Nicolette Teti who played the Young Princess, Fiona Shine Duncan who played the Young Prince, and Elena D’Elia who played the Young Lord of York!
The show was performed 5 times at Emerson’s Semel Theater this past weekend. It was absolutely amazing!
Miss Ingrid has 2 upcoming exciting projects: “A Slice of Shakespeare” – a kids play starring Boston Community Collaborative’s dance and drama students from SJS the 3rd week in March, and “East High Tales” – a youth musical based on the music of High School Musical. This will be performed May 20 and May 21 and will include 17 youth actors as well as several adult performers.
Ingrid is a playwright, director, and choreographer by trade. Her original work has been featured all around the Boston area, including Newburyport Actor’s Studio, On With Living and Learning, Emerson College, and Suffolk University. Over many years, Ingrid has taught hundreds of North End youth in dance, drama, and film. Her enthusiasm, professionalism, prolific work, and her wonderful ability to work with people of all ages and backgrounds is impressive. The North End is lucky that she shares her amazing talents with our kids and families in the North End.
