Boston Community Collaborative coordinated an amazing “Play on the Parquet” opportunity for kids at Monday’s Celtics game against the New Orleans Pelicans. Fourteen kids, along with Coach Rich, had a blast during their pre-game scrimmage.
Boston Community Collaborative (BCC) is thrilled to be able to provide this amazing experience. BCC was incorporated in 2013 and strives to create community by connecting people and resources.
BCC offers courses in drama, dance, fitness, and engineering for kids during the St. John School afterschool program, courses in drama at the Eliot School, Movers and Shakers and Wicked Smaht Engineering classes for babies and toddlers at the West End Community Center, and for grades 5-8 at the Charlestown Lacrosse and Learning Center. BCC also hosts a number of community events: Movie nights in the Gassy during the summer, an annual Halloween party for adults, and an annual springtime egg hunt in Christopher Columbus Park.
