What a series the North End All Stars played against the South End in winning a 2 game sweep to take the annual North2 South series!

Led by Head Coach Luigi Natale, Assistant Dennis Lacolla and Assistant Dan Shea, the North End came out ready to play in game one, shutting the South End down. Game one was at the Langone park in the North End. Alessia Pantaleo; MVP of game one, made a huge play in the second inning, hitting a strong double and bringing in 2 runs. Ryan Mazierka, was also a huge asset to the North End All-Stars by not letting one ball go past him. The North End All-Stars continued to take the lead throughout the game and finished strong 15-5.

Game 2 of the series was another battle for the North End All-Stars at Peters Park in the South End. Francesca Rubino was a key player in game 2 of the series leading the team to defeat the South End All-Stars 14-10. Joe Bova was a leading hitter for the North-End All-Stars going 3-3 at bat. Matt Mendoza made a huge game changing play making a diving catch at centerfield. That play propelled the North End to victory. Peter Shea closed the game, pitching outstanding the last 2 innings. The North End All-Stars looked the part for both games taking it right at the South End and making all the key plays.

The series, sponsored by State Rep Aaron Michlewitz was a huge success.
