The ABCD North End/West End Neighborhood Service Center (NE/WE NSC) held its annual Father’s Day party. Over 50 fathers, their spouses, and friends turned out for a home-cooked meal of hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, watermelon, and cake. It was a time-honored tradition to honor Dad with a meal made on the grill! The NE/WE NSC staff and volunteers prepared the drop-in center for the celebration and cleaned up afterwards. It was a lively atmosphere with music by Silke Evans, the center’s piano player, and the raffling of flower centerpieces. Everyone in attendance enjoyed the festive kick-off to summer!
