North End Beautification Committee Hosts Christmas Tree Celebration

Kicking off a night of holiday events, the North End Beautification Committee brought Christmas to the corner of Hanover and Cross Streets with a tree lighting celebration featuring carolers and hot chocolate from Caffe Paradiso. The kids at Saint John School were on hand with a huge bake sale as the NEMPAC carolers entertained the crowd with holiday songs. City Councilor Sal LaMattina was also there to support the group’s beautification efforts.

NEBC chairs are Patricia Thibotout, Allison Seavey and Dana Michalowski. In addition to the tree, festive wreathes decorate the Hanover Street light poles.  The NEBC is soliciting donations for its holiday and Spring 2015 projects. Checks can be sent to the North End Beautification Committee, 100 Fulton St., 4v, Boston, MA 02109.
