Executive Director of the Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy, Jesse Brackenbury, updated the North End / Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) on end of season activities and introduced new members of the Conservancy staff.
Michael Nichols is taking on the community affairs function for the Conservancy. He will responding to neighborhood issues, attending meetings and working with NEWNC and Conservancy Board member, John Pregmon, as well as other groups around the Greenway.
Brackenbury also introduced the Conservancy’s new park ranger program with Trina and Omar. The rangers will be working with the police and acting as ambassadors for the parks and surrounding areas.
Lastly, the Conservancy expects to have a new lease extension by year end from MassDOT, the property owner of the Greenway parks.
