89th St. Joseph’s Feast Schedule for October 3rd, 4th & 5th, 2014

The 89th St. Joseph’s Feast will be held Friday through Sunday, October 3rd – 5th, 2014.

On Friday, October 3rd, join the San Giuseppe Society on Hanover Street in the North End. At 7:00 p.m., the society will hold a ceremony honoring John Romano with a Community Service Award.

On Saturday, October 4th, the feast moves into the Prado (Paul Revere Mall) for an 11:00 a.m. blessing of St. Joseph – procession followed from 1 -4 p.m. with a free family day of entertainment and fun with Patricia Romano and Marlo D’Anna … Face Painting, Balloons, Sand Bracelets, Pumpkin Painting and much more. At night on Saturday from 6pm-11pm, join the St. Joseph’s Society’s Sidewalk Cafe with music by Ray Cavicchio.

On Sunday, October 5th, at 1:00 p.m, the annual St. Joseph procession will be held through the streets of the North End with marching bands.

On the following Sunday, October 12th, at 11:00 a.m., Cardinal O’Malley will celebrate Mass at St. Stephen’s Church. There will be a meet and greet with the Cardinal after the mass.
