Local Scenes from the World Cup Final

Mario Goetz brought it all for Germany in a 1-0 win over Argentina on Sunday afternoon’s World Cup Final (Globe coverage). The win ties Germany with Italy for the second most World Cup wins after Brazil’s five. Germany also became the first European team to win in the Americas. The North End and Downtown Boston were mesmerized with the game as shown in these photo scenes.
