This Week’s Events: St. Agrippina’s 100th Feast and Christmas in July at the Gassy

Monday, July 28

6:00pm Free Zumba Gold exercise classes at Christopher Columbus Park
Sponsored by the City of Boston, enjoy free Zumba Gold exercise classes in the park.

Tuesday, July 29

6:00pm Bootcamp at North End Greenway Parks
North End Fitness Together (NEFT) Bootcamp – Tuesdays lasting for 45 minutes, across from Haymarket between Sudbury and North Streets.

Wednesday, July 30

7:00pm Christmas in July at the Gassy (DiFilippo Playground) on Prince Street
The playground will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland with Snowmen, Christmas Trees, Holiday Music and a visit from Santa. Free Regina pizza, slush, and beverages will be served for the featured movie, Frozen. View Post

St. Agrippina’s Feast at Hanover & Battery Streets [Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday]
St. Agrippina di Mineo Feast on Battery & Hanover Streets (1:00pm Sunday Procession). This year is the 100th Anniversary, scheduled for July 31st through August 3rd. Organizers have announced headlining entertainment performances by The Temptations on Friday night, August 1st, and Taylor Dayne on Saturday night, August 2nd. The St. Agrippina’s Feast is held at the end of Hanover Street near the intersection of Battery Street. View Post for more information and visit their website.

1:00pm Arts & Crafts at Mirabella Pool
NEAD will provide Arts and Crafts every Thursday from 1pm to 4pm at Mirabella Pool starting Thursday July 10th. Rain location is Nazzaro Center. This is for Boys and Girls Ages 6 to 16, however if a child under 6 wants to participate their parent must do the craft with them.

7:00pm NEMPAC Summer Concert Series on the Waterfront!
Join NEMPAC for Racky Thomas as part of their summer concert series, every Thursday for the rest of July will be different themed concerts that are free and open to the public. More Information.

Friday, August 1

6:30am Free Boot Camp Exercise Classes at Christopher Columbus Park
On Fridays, lasting until the end of August, from 6:30am to 7:30am. Free Boot Camp exercise classes in the park, sponsored by the City of Boston.

Saturday, August 2

1:00pm Paul Revere House: The Art of Spinning [19 N Square, Boston]
The art of spinning is best learned by the young, and Zoe Lawson has been practicing the craft of spinning by drop spindle and on a wheel since childhood. She shares her techniques while in 18th century garb, accompanied by her fellow fiber artist and father, Fred Lawson. View More Paul Revere Events
