For three months this summer, Bostonians, visitors and adventurers big and small can enjoy all of the pleasures of a New England summer – sun-splashed days, breezy nights and most notably, the water.  This summer, the Boston Harbor Hotel will once again become one of Boston’s liveliest outdoor entertainment venues when it launches its 16^th annual Summer in the City Entertainment Series on Thursday, June 12, 2014 (continuing through Friday, August 29, 2014).

One of Boston’s most anticipated outdoor summer traditions, the Summer in the City Entertainment Series offers guests, visitors and local residents the opportunity to enjoy complimentary concerts, movies and live entertainment from the hotel’s unrivaled waterfront location.  Now in its 16^th year, the series has become a summer staple in Boston.

As the sun sets, the harbor comes alive with different bands performing nightly on the hotel’s floating barge.  Cool breezes, passing yachts, Chef Daniel Bruce’s award-winning cuisine and cocktails al fresco all paint a lively scene that is reminiscent of the European seaside, but is entirely unique to Boston.  With each night sporting a different theme from Summer Soul Tuesdays and Rat Pack Wednesdays to Blues Barge Thursdays and Movies by Moonlight Fridays and more, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
