St. John School Congratulates the 2014 Graduates!

St. John School celebrated its 117th Commencement on June 6, 2014 with the graduation of nine students. Principal Karen McLaughlin congratulated the graduates as they were presented their diplomas in Sacred Heart Church.
We are proud to announce our GRADUATING CLASS OF 2014!
Diplomas were presented to the following students: Nico Alex, Kristina Coffey, Vincent Coppola, Richard Dooley, Noah Foley, Laura Pettine, Isabella Rizzo, Caroline Roman, and Ashvin Singh.
In addition to receiving diplomas, academic scholarships were given to the students. The students receiving scholarship awards were:
  • Knights of Columbus, Council 1513, Father Frederick Bailey Scholarship:  Vincent Coppola
  • Stephen Barker and Rosaria Pace Scholarship (Donated by Joseph Pace in memory of his nephew Stephen Barker and his mother Rosaria):  Caroline Roman, Kristina Coffey, Ashvin Singh, Nico Alex and Richard Dooley
  • St. Anthony Society-Father Michael Ciullo Memorial Scholarship:  Vincent Coppola
  • Robert De Christoforo Memorial Scholarship:  Noah Foley
  • Nichols Award-North End Library:  Noah Foley and Laura Pettine
  • Mary Dorothea Devereaux Character Award is presented to a student based on the student’s growth and development of character while at St. John School:  Isabella Rizzo
  • Principal’s Award for Academic Excellence:  Laura Pettine
