On the evening of Wednesday May 21st the Nazzaro Center was home to the second round of the Ward 3 Democrats Candidates night. With Ward 3 Chairman Jason Aluia unable to attend, it was Vice-Chairman Daniel Toscano at the helm. Candidates for statewide office had a chance to speak with voters and delegates before the June 2014 Democratic Convention.
Candidates were given 15 minutes to speak to the committee members, including time for questions from the audience. Candidates spoke of many issues and concerns that pertain to the North End and Downtown Boston neighborhoods, as well as the entire Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Five Candidates were in attendance for offices that include: Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, State Treasurer, and Suffolk County Registry of Probate.
