George Takei (Sulu) Beams Down to North End’s Prado

Was that really George Takei, aka Star Trek’s Sulu, on the Paul Revere Mall (Prado)? Residents thought so on Thursday afternoon and the pictures clearly show the helmsman of the USS Enterprise was touring the North End with a costumed Paul Revere / colonial guide. Thanks to Lauren Nelson and Matt Black for the on-scene photos!

Prado / Paul Revere Mall Restoration Work to be Funded by Snow Budget Surplus

The crumbling Prado public square in the North End, known formally as Paul Revere Mall, is getting some long overdue funding for capital improvements.
