Stay Busy With These Events This Week

If you haven’t gotten your flu shot yet, get that done for free right here in the neighborhood on Tuesday. NEWNC and NEWRA both have meetings this week. If  you aren’t in the holiday spirit then check out Christmas carols, tales, and several holiday concerts. This week is going to be another cold one with a chance of some winter weather conditions so make sure you bundle up on your way to these events!

North End Waterfront Health is offering a free flu clinic. During these times, the flu shot will be free for everyone over the age of 18. NEW Health is located at 332 Hanover St.  See Event Post

Come hear the Boston University Brass Department perform an eclectic program that will include classical and pops music.

6:00pm “Portraits of American Craftsman” Lecture at North Bennet Street School, 150 North St.
Texas-based photographer Tadd Myers traveled across America interviewing and photographing craftsmen. In his new book, “Portraits of the American Craftsman” (Lyons), he celebrates about 30 businesses. In addition, he profiles North Bennet Street School, founded in the North End of Boston in 1885 to teach immigrants to work with their hands. He’ll give a slideshow and talk at the school, 150 North St.  See Event Post

5:30pm NEMPAC Musical Theatre Troupe Presents: A Christmas Carol – Improv Asylum
The NEMPAC Musical Theater Troupe will be performing their version of the Christmas Carol at the Improv Asylum on Hanover Street. With an original script written by our own Alia Roberts, this is a performance not to be missed! Tickets are $10 and kids can come for FREE!
