About the NEMPAC Music Theatre Troupe:
The program was founded by Ex. Director Sherri Snow in 2011. The program has grown of the past few years, and now involves over 20 children, ages 7 – 13. The children along with our three instructors meet every Friday from 4:00-5:30 pm for this wonderful music, theatre, and dance program. This program will teach young performers the beginning fundamentals of Musical Theatre through a combination of singing, acting, and dance. Our older troupe members are challenged to further develop their artistry and interest in being in the spotlight! All members of this program are challenged with the responsibility of learning lines, music, and how to work with their peers to create a show. Their levels of confidence, leadership skills, and respect for the stage will be enlightened! Past shows include, ” The wizard of Oz”, ” Annie- JR” and ” Alice in Wonderland- JR”. We are now accepting registrations for the Winter Session beginning January 17th, 2014. Our Spring Production is TBA.
