Friends and supporters of City Councilor Sal LaMattina came out on Tuesday night for a fundraiser at Bricco on Hanover Street. LaMattina was decisively re-elected as the City Councilor for District 1 (North End, Charlestown, East Boston) last month with 82% of the vote in the North End. Several candidates are running fundraisers after the election to help cover campaign expenses. Councilor LaMattina will be sworn in on Inauguration Day, January 6, 2014 for the next term.
