Christmas Events at Old North Church

There are several upcoming Christmas-related events at Old North!

First … we will be “greening” the outdoor spaces on our campus this Saturday beginning at 9:30. All are invited to help hang wreaths and garlands … and enjoy refreshments and lively conversation.

Second … this is the first Saturday of our winter “Piccoli Regali” neighborhood outreach ministry. Groceries, coffee and conversation will be offered to our neighbors in need most Saturday mornings from now through the end of March.

Third … Sunday afternoon at 5pm our choir joins with NEMPAC to present Benjamin Britten’s beautiful and beloved A Ceremony of Carols.

Also, it is not too soon to plan for our Christmas services:

Tuesday, December 24:

4PM – Family Manger Service with Eucharist
10:30pm – Choral Prelude
11pm – Christmas Eve Festival Eucharist

Wednesday, December 25:

11am – Christmas Day Eucharist

Patriot’s Day 2012 Weekend Festivities Schedule

Lighting of the Lanterns at Old North Church for Patriot’s Day [Video]

The Lighting of the Lanterns capped off the 241st Lantern Ceremony on Sunday night recalling the events of April 18, 1775.
