Team Trevor held a fundraising event with special guest, “Boston’s Finest’s” Jennifer Penton at the North End’s Tresca on Tuesday night to benefit Cystic Fibrosis research. Team Trevor is named for a young man whose daily medical routine would make most people grow weary. Diagnosed with CF when he was only five months old, Trevor is now a bright 14 year old who knows that the future of all CF patients lies in lifesaving research and medical programs. Trevor was on hand at Tresca to serve as “Celebrity Chef” for the night.

Boston Police Officer, Jennifer Penton, was there as the celebrity guest coming off a successful first season of “Boston’s Finest,” a reality docudrama series on TNT. Season Two debuts on November 26th.

Hosts Elyse and Harvey Wilk of Tresca (233 Hanover Street) provided guests with the restaurant’s famous Italian delicacies throughout the event. A live auction also helped raise funds with several items of Red Sox and New England Patriots’ memorabilia.

Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disorder that causes severe lung damage and nutritional deficiencies in approximately 30,000 kids and young adults nationwide. Currently there is no cure.
