Bartolomew T. Papa of Boston’s North End passed away on Wednesday October 2nd, 2013.
Beloved husband of Annette Sutera Papa of Boston’s North End.
Devoted father of Patricia “Patte” Papa and Vincent Federico, and Joyce Papa Amoroso and Ralph Amoroso, all of Boston’s North End.
Dear brother of Anthony Papa of Wakefield, and the late Thomas Pappa, Mary Colella and Lena Adams.
Devoted and cherished grandfather of Justin and Jordyn Amoroso.
Also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Bartolomew’s life was held in the Sacred Heart Church, 12 North Square, Boston’s North End on Saturday October 5th.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations honoring Bartholomew may be made to the Cam Neely Foundation, 30 Winter Street, 2nd Floor, Boston MA 02108.
Bart was born in Boston to the late Benjamin and Beatrice Papa on November 1,1931. He served his country in the US Army with honor during the Korean Conflict and later worked for many years for Boston Edison Company. Bartholomew passed away peacefully in the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on Wednesday morning after a brief illness.
Committal services will be private.
