Boston Fire was called to 78 Prince Street in the North End for a possible problem with a chimney above Bova’s Bakery near the corner of Salem Street. Smoke was reported from the roof about 6:00 pm on Monday night. The street was later cleared, apparently without incident. Photo by @bostonbibs.

The North End / Waterfront Neighborhood Council, NEWNC, unanimously supported an application with the Zoning Board of Appeals for relief to change the allowed use/legal occupancy of the first floor at 91 Prince St. from a store to residential apartment. Boston Fire Dept Responds to Smoke From Sail Loft

Boston Fire Department responded on Friday morning, around 6:30am, to smoke coming from the Sail Loft restaurant, Atlantic Ave., on the North End waterfront. The owner reports that a pile of thick cardboard plates fell onto a pilot light on the stove.
