On Sunday August 4th at Langone Park, over 200 current and former North Enders came together to celebrate friendship. The event was organized by Mike Giannosoli and his committee with any profits to benefit North End Against Drugs.
People came together to renew old friendships, make new ones, and to reminisce about the old neighborhood which we all love so much. There was a barbecue, a sweet table, and a photo wall of remembrance which included pictures of our friends and neighbors who have passed on.
Music included the fantastic sounds of Vinyl Groove led by our own Steven Virgilio who had the entire audience singing and dancing to the oldies of the sixties and seventies. DJ Geno Mirabella then took over spinning our favorites until the end of the day. A wonderful time was had by all, and everyone hoped it would become an annual event.
