Update, August 27, 2013 – Chico didn’t make it. He got up onto a highway and when cornered by would-be rescuers, fear got the best of him and he jumped up over a wall which turned out to be a sixty foot drop. The State Police returned his remains so he could be cremated. Our sincere condolences to Janine and her family during a very difficult time.
“Chico,” a MinPin and Chihuahua mix black/brown, 3 y/o dog and Endicott Street resident, is missing. He accidentally got out during the Sunday afternoon feast and ran over to Charlestown, over the walkway under the Zakim Bridge and then ran down the railroad tracks toward Somerville. Chico is 13 pounds, wearing a black collar and tags but is shy and doesn’t like to be chased. The Coppola family has been looking everywhere and would very much appreciate any information. Please call 617-771-8417, 617-595-6939 or email j9copp@gmail.com. A posting from Granite State Dog Recovery is shown below.
